Dr. Fattal earned his Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 1999. In addition, Dr. Fattal holds a Masters in Public Health from the American University of Beirut. He maintains his status as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic in 2005. Dr. Fattal currently serves as the Associate Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at one of the largest hospitals in New York City, Bellevue Hospital. He is also the Unit Chief of the Latino Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. Dr. Fattal is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the prestigious New York University, where he teaches residents and medical students. Dr. Fattal is a recognized authority in cultural competency in psychiatry and has published several articles and book chapters on a breadth of psychiatric issues. Dr. Fattal is Board Certified and has maintained his certification with no restrictions.
Lama Bazzi MD graduated from the American University of Beirut with her Medical Degree in 2007. After working as a Research Fellow for two years, Dr. Bazzi completed her General Psychiatry training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has extensive research experience and much of her work emphasizes global health and international psychiatry. Dr. Bazzi completed her Forensic Psychiatry training at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals, under the tutelage of Phillip J. Resnick, a leading nationally and internationally recognized Forensic Psychiatrist. Recently, she earned a seat serving on the Board of Trustees of the American Psychiatric Association as the Early Career Trustee at Large to the Board of Trustees. She serves as the voice of all psychiatrists within seven years of their training and aims to help the board recognize and address their specific professional needs.
Dr. Bazzi is currently the Medical Director of the Suffolk County Assisted Outpatient Treatment Program. In addition to testifying weekly, she is an outpatient doctor in the community mental health clinic, and continues to perform psychiatric evaluations for the court. Dr. Bazzi is board certified in General Psychiatry and Forensic cy and maintains her certification with no restrictions.
Patricia is a Certified Professional Life Coach based in Miami Beach, Florida. She is fluent in Arabic. After earning her Law Degree and her Masters in Political Sciences in Diplomacy, she practiced Law in Beirut, Lebanon for several years before moving to the USA. As she drifted away from the legal field, it was the city of Miami Beach, Florida that inspired Patricia to pursue her passion of helping others grow and flourish. Today she is a certified Professional Life and Energy Coach and is an ELI Master Practitioner. She is also the founder of Shine Your Light Coaching, where she helps people realize their potential and follow their dreams. She is skilled at using the Energy Leadership Index tool to maximize the power of coaching using the client’s energy levels. Patricia believes that within each person lies the ability to make the most powerful changes, and that what we dream of we can achieve.

Ms. Maktabi earned her Masters in Psychology from Bristol University in the United Kingdom. She practices as a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto, Canada, and has over seven years of clinical experience. She is also an experienced supervisor, training other therapists.
Ms. Maktabi offers culturally- sensitive, evidence-based psychotherapy, and is well-versed in attachment theory and trauma informed care. She treats clients with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, and self-image difficulties. She has a breadth of experience working with clients with a variety of gender identities and sexual orientations.
Ms. Maktabi is fluent in Arabic, French and English and has a solid understanding of cultural issues that affect mental health. She employs cognitive behavioral techniques, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and mindfulness in her clients’ treatment plans in order to maximize their self-actualization.
